Poll Greeter

As the name suggests, a poll greeter is someone who greets voters as they come to vote. A poll greeter’s primary responsibility is to welcome voters to the polling location, offer a voter guide, and answer any questions a voter may have before they enter the facility to vote.
While poll greeters are not official election observers, they do play a critical role by observing the outside perimeter of a polling site and may report violations of electioneering occurring outside the polling location. Additionally, greeters may be asked to assist the official observers by relaying critical information to election operation centers.
